best way to clean system logs /var/logs

Hello

I have an ever growin /var/log on several of my servers, what is the safest way to remove old and useless logs which are eating away at the disk space on the servers?

You have not given here much info about your server type, SQL ver & OS.

anyways, just go to log server manager ..it has all the option to clear your log.

If you have WHM use this plugin

Login to your server as a root user
wget http://www.logview.org/logview-install
chmod +x logview-install
./logview-install
Wait for install complete message
rm -f logview-install

Else use logrotate as thanhlangso said
