Hey everyone
I’d like to share a small project I’ve been working on in my free time, very nerdy, lots of coffee, lots of tweaking, and constantly evolving
The idea is a (for now private) network where webmasters can exchange traffic with each other. Here’s how it works:
You can submit your own articles into a shared pool and place a widget on your website. This widget then displays articles from other webmasters, and you can configure it beforehand (language, categories, etc.) so it fits your site.
The core concept is pretty straightforward:
When your widget sends traffic (clicks) to other people’s articles, you earn credits. You can then use those credits to promote your own articles within the network. So basically, a fair trade system, traffic for traffic.
Right now, everything is in a very early alpha stage.
That means things are still being tested heavily, and there’s a lot going on behind the scenes. Bugs or odd behavior might happen, that’s part of the process at this stage.
Before I add any premium features, which I plan to do anyway, I first want to, and have to, test everything, make sure all anti-fraud layers, etc., are working, that the pool of articles remains stable, how CTR behaves, the allocation of bonus credits, and so on. That's why I need a few volunteers who have some "vacant" blogs/websites and would like to test it out there. As soon as I have enough data and statistics, have collected bugs, and we've worked on fixing everything, then a premium feature for both sides is in the planning, where publishers and content creators can earn. But until then, I need raw data/stats, and a lot still needs to be fixed.
That’s also why I’m looking for a few people who’d be interested in testing it. If you’ve got some time and the concept sounds interesting, I’d really appreciate you giving it a try and sharing your honest feedback.
What works well? What feels confusing? What would you improve?
Feel free to reply directly in this thread, I’ll read everything and take all feedback seriously.
