Hello, everyone!
We are a team of Administrator-Druids` company SeCom. We want to offer you our solution for the migration process.
If you plan to do a migration and need to copy you data, site
We, Secom supportcompany can advice you 1-to-1 full copy:
1. first of all both servers should have identical operation system (centos6 x86_64->centos6 x86_64, or another)
2. stop all hosting services on the old server (webserver, database etc)
3. open screen command and run copying:
rsync -av 1.2.3.4:/ --progress --exclude=boot --exclude=etc/mtab --exclude=etc/fstab --exclude=etc/sysconfig/network \
--exclude=proc --exclude=sys --exclude=dev --exclude=etc/network* --exclude=*error*log --exclude=access*log
where 1.2.3.4 - new server IP
After ending you new server will have the same password, settings, software and files as on the old server. You need to add all the services on the new server.
Have a nice day!
Best wishes, Secom
