1and1 nameserver change!

i changed my nameserver ip on 1and1 yesterday and its reflected in 1and1 but my website is still offline. whois of nameserver still shows the old ip. how long does it take for the change to come into effect? my website is down for more than a day now X-(

also i had another domain with namecheap and the nameserver change came into effect within 3 or 4 hours :facepalm:

1and1 takes 24-48 hours normally.

1and1.com Subdomain Propagation

I changed the subdomain IP's of my nameservers because I moved out to another VPS. It's been over 72 hrs and the new IP's have not propagated yet.

so does this mean it will take more than that? or should i just change the nameserver at 1and1 to my nameservers registered with namecheap? will it also take that long? anyone have experience with 1and1 please reply
