Actually I have domains with them, decent and the support is not that bad.

CrazyDomains is really a cheap domain registar but Godaddy is always giving away $1.99 or $0.99 coupon code, more attractive.

I always use W3-total-cache, and enable APC or Xcache for page cache, Memcached for Database cache, quite fast performance.

I think you can use GZip to decrease your page size. Also use some cache plugin to enhance the speed.

It's simple thing. You will need to export the data from blogspot and then import them into your shared hosting package. If you still need help, you can PM me and I will help you with that.

A general shared hosting package shall cover your needs, while you can start using a tiny VPS for the long term run.

I used to be at Webhostingtalk freehosting section, maybe you can go there and try your business there.
