Welcome to WJ.
I don't see FTP mentioned anywhere on your site. Has it been fixed? If so, how do we find our FTP credentials?
I'd also like to suggest giving us an option that doesn't limit us to uploading 30 files at a time.
So, I can now see their index page, their signup page, premium page, and a couple others. But not their "login" page or their "filesystem" page (those are just blank). Since those are the pages that actually matter to me...
I know about the MU scandal, and the affects it had on the entire cyberlocker scene. FJ was still up and running up until a couple months ago (as is FS). FSO was the only one to completely evaporate (MU being taken down by force).
At one point their server wasn't responding. Then for awhile it was redirecting me to my ISP's page that indicates basically that the domain name isn't registered. Now it's showing "Forbidden" on "www.filejungle.com" and a blank page on "www.filejungle.com/filemanager".
Hacked? Site update...
Since there isn't currently a ftp uploading option, but even if you do add a ftp option, I think you should seriously consider getting rid of (or at least drastically raising) the limit on the number of files we can upload at once. Personally, I'm not using your service at the moment simply...
Yea, big push for you guys to eliminate/seriously raise the number of files we can upload at a time while you guys don't have an FTP option.
At the moment, one would have to upload files by selecting them one-by-one and uploading them 10 at a time--not ideal for people dealing with large...
Please, please, oh pretty please, bring back the Lifetime option!!
It was/is difficult to purchase accounts from you guys for those of us from the USA. For me it's either lifetime or I'm not paying at all. I believe I've emailed you regarding this issue (explaining how it benefits businesses...
If that's correct, I guess I'm not understanding it.
The project (which has many fewer fields than I anticipate mine having), has them all in one table, no? My understanding is this is very suboptimal.
I'm sorry, I have limited knowledge of Python (my only coding skills), and the SQL knowledge I've learned by reading online documentation, a few extra guilds, and the chapter in my Python book that discussed databases.
From all that, I've come to understand that proper SQL structure is...
No FTP uploading? Is this a planned feature? Or intentionally missing?
Would be nice if payment for us in the U.S. wasn't ~25% higher than your advertised prices. Any chance of adding epayments or something, so we can only have to pay a little bit more?
Given
IMDb provides their list of txt files.
IMDb.py (among others) allows you to use those to populate a database with these files.
IMDb provides "diff" files in order to (*theoretically, at least) give developers the ability to update their local database (not wipe and re-populate).
I'm...
Lock Down,
Thanks so much for the response!!
Made me consider a bunch of factors I hadn't before!
So you're saying when normalizing these tables, one of the goals would be to separate information fields in order to allow the users to search through specific data.
I'm slightly confused by...
IMDb - Movies & TV
TheTVDB - TV
TMDb - TV
AFDB - Porn Movies
IAFD - Porn Movies
Is there any project out there attempting to index paysite submissions? Most of the time, it seems the information is available even without paying (if you're willing to crawl around for it), and anyone with access...
First of all, I'd like to thank both of you for linking to some VERY helpful sources (plenty of which was above my head)! =D
I'm still feeling a little lost though. I've read the two sources linked here, and I've also looked at the XMBC wiki on their databases (which, I must say, made me more...
