Because you leech files from others and these files already have in FS, when FS see files have the same hash code, FS only store one file in sv and create link for you. So when FS receive DMCA report, they delete root file and all link to this file will delete too.

@adrunkenmess: the question is why FS don't stop counting download instead of ban account, code for this job is too hard ??? BTW FS don't count 1 download/1 day with 1 premium acc, sometimes count 3 and maybe 4 download/1 day.

I usually download my own files and sometimes I see rewards points increase (I don't cheat, just use JDownloader, IDM... like everybody), someday when I enough points and get it, FS will ban my acc with the reason cheat their system??? Funny :)) Here FS rules: 7. Downloads by your own account...

Unlimited for free acc, but your files will be deleted after 30 days, if anyone download your files, it will buffer for 3 days (not +30 days) and delete as I remember unless you are premium, so don't even think you can use their big storage with free acc. ;)

When we remote too much, 500 - 1000 GB/1 day and not join affiliate program like Ricky said, are we violent their terms??? Because I usually use RU with 200-300 GB everyday and not join affiliate program, just use for host interested files and personal data.
