For the .ZIP files there is a nice php class witch doesn't require any binary file PCLZIP http://www.phpconcept.net/pclzip/ It's really easy to implement I'm using it on a similar script. If it's needed I can help implement it or make a plugin

What is your isp? I assume you are on adsl. If yes check in your router this values: Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]:8,0 / 2,0 Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]:3,5 / 3,0 SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]:10,0 / 24,0 the numbers well not be the same but with big diferences the problem it's your adsl line

Is there any updated list of templates for MPU ? I downloaded almost everything from here but there are allot of duplicates and non working forums. How about making a big list ? If you want to contribute upload or send me the templates you have and I well try to make a big organised archive.

I think you lose more users without showing the images to guests compared to the bandwith you save. In my opinion you should allow the images to guests. well change the site a little bit.
