LW 100TB plans are also much crappier. The disks are slow, interface to manage is pretty crap, and you could get terminated at any time.

There will be more involved than just turning on the servers. The whole company needs to be transferred, and given they dissolved it I'm not sure if that will make it harder, but these things take time.

well it would certainly be managed a lot better, and LW current 100TB offers show it can be done, but the brand will be a problem. rapidspeeds lose a lot of credibility now.

redstation is shit. they are basically the next rapidspeeds. leasing their hw and paying for data, it will end badly. uk2 group is OK, they run 100tb.com and vps.net rapidspeeds were paying far less than that, around 1euro per mbit across EU and US.

It is very likely it is true, Glenn wouldn't really lie on that. Based on LW responses as well, it makes sense.

They do have 2x10GE per rack, though it isn't very expensive for that. They aren't paying 3-5e, more like 1e and it is 95th as you say. I'm not sure about the mailing, it wouldn't actually make that much sense as they were at a size they could sustain that. Same with billing, I doubt they had...

It is pretty easy, although hard to get the hardware, if you want figures on rapidspeeds' rough costing let me know.

When you switch, make sure when the company says they own something, they actually do. Leasing or lease-to-own isn't owning.

The VPS servers will come online but just have a think for a moment about how the VPS are managed. They likely will come online but if there are any problems it will take a lot more time for leaseweb to fix them.

If you want someone to trust, go with OVH or Swiftway. There are no other providers in that price bracket that actually own their own hardware.
