Personally, its not a good idea to set up a hosting service on a reseller that has been paid upfront. Just my opinion. Make sure you do your research first.

You have some great points. I will never lower the pricing of my shared hosting as I believe quality comes at a cost and, by offering hosting for $1.99, you are attracting the wrong kind of customers (you'll find they submit more support tickets) then a client paying $4 - $10 for a Shared...
