Sounds to me you guys have a file system corruption. Your best bet is to transfer all data before trying to restart the server and do a fresh install or else the file system will never load making it impossible to load the needed drivers.

Are you currently on windows 8 by chance? Or are you sure you got the correct drivers because you may think you did but you didnt. Best option is use the original driver even if its not supported by the os by pointing to the actual inf file or find a download directly from the manufactures site.

All that does is downloads a copy to host directly on your server which would work, but at times can really cause problems like people hacking your server since it downloads files.

My main choice for linux is Debian, but i usually get stuck with centos due to whm/cpanel requirements. If people could be happy with just getting everything done manually :D i would be happy with ssh & debian.
