Why? Because it's worse if you don't pay.
For example you don't pay for 2 years, upload 500 GB every day -> 365 TB hosted and Google doesn't earn a cent. So they shutdown the account.
@GO Unlimited
Which encoder do you use? FFmpeg? Maybe there is some way to enable burning in subtitles into the video which would be very helpful for many people here I think, and it wouldn't affect the encoding time too much.
Thanks.
It's still sad to see that we all lost all the videos...
I'm not angry at @GO Unlimited or so. He doesn't give up and invests so much money in this, but I still have to reencode (burn in the subtitles) around 6000 of my videos with one server and that will take a looong time ^^
Would be nice if...
Don't trust random people on the Internet with Google Drive Accounts.
1. They can access your data
2. These accounts get easily banned
3. These people don't care about your data if it gets banned
@GO Unlimited Could you tell us what will happen in the next few days?
What do you plan to do?
When will you get to pay the bounce from the reuploads?
I think most people here want to know this.
@GO Unlimited Files with the same MD5 as the lost videos do not get reencoded. They are not loading because your system wants to replace that video with an existing one, but the existing one is on your offline servers. Could you fix that? I sent an example to you via PM
@GO Unlimited I currently got around 8200 videos in my account. But reuploading them will take a long while (1 month?). Should I contact you in 1 month then?
@GO Unlimited How is it possible that you host so many videos, make big payouts, give 25$ bounces and still manage to make profit for 4 years while other hosts die so quickly?
I am really impressed of you.
