no it dont change in a few minutes lol for changing nameservers it takes around 2 hours or more for changes to take effect and for a new Server IP registration takes 1 - 2 days or more depending on DNS on your area Did own a hosting business before so I know how this thing goes :)

If you have just registered the IP you need to wait for DNS to propagate usually 1 - 2 days

If you own a new server like a VPS or dedicated you need to register the IP of that server wether on godaddy or namecheap on whereever you did buy your domain anyway thats the first step and the you need to setup the nameservers on your cpanel when the IP has propagated
