Think a VPN would make my speeds a bit better when throttled? Like at least 1mbps?

I have called tech support, spoke with a manager, and spoke with the presidents office and they all said the same thing "We throttle our users who exceed the limit to ensure quality service to all of our customers" Quality service for everyone who isn't throttled :facepalm:

Cannot change ISP's, they have a monopoly in place and im on a contract. There is no better plan, I pay for unlimited bandwidth - 70$ a month and I go over my limit almost every month.

Damn, any ways to bypass a bandwidth limit? :(( cause 10GB is not much at all .. like, I can't even play xbox ffs, and when I do go over I get throttled back to 0.11mbps that's like 100 times slower.

Smaller sites such as WJunction, warez sites, etc shouldn't go down because it's just not effective enough since the average citizen does not visit them, but websites like Facebook, twitter, google, reddit, wikipedia should go down because they have the useful traffic needed to fight the bill...

This would work, bit there is another way that should work as well. If you go into your ACP and duplicate your current theme and have 1 for normal and 1 for VIP. Once you've done that edit the VIP forums and use the VIP style that you just made. Have more questions feel free to pm me :)
