Maybe adding "display:inline" to the style of each div? Or you could use floating divs but remember to put a "clear: both" (or left/right) after them to avoid problems.

Follow the html and css tutorials on w3schools (see Chri5's link). They're easy to follow and free. Afterwards, try writing some code yourself, don't use dreamweaver or that sort of applications. If you have any problem specifically related to html or something, feel free to ask :)
