There never was, usually scene TV and pr0n releases are in MP4 format and they get blacklisted a few mins/hours after release, that's why many people think NL filters all MP4 files; go check the high-rank release blogs, there are tens of NL links for the MP4 release of each TVshow.

If you wanna know who started the "monetary reward" scheme, MU did allow exchanging points for money since long ago and they were most probably the first, and so did Megashares (I think). Hotfile was most probably the first to introduce a PPD scheme like the ones we see these days, though.

How come this didn't happen last year then? Or the year before that? Not gonna claim the dip is definitely caused by the recent fiasco among file-lockers but Paypal reaching its lowest alexa rank in two years (or maybe even more) is certainly not caused by summer holidays that happens...

Yes they do, you'll be banned in no time if you upload music or anything else which has a high chance of being taken down by DMCA.

If you requested via Paypal, you're not gonna get it any time soon, their Paypal account has been limited just like pretty much every other file host.
