It doesn't matter where you host... if they wanna take you down, they will take you down. Torrentspy was run and owned by non-American citizens, hosted off-shore and they even had all American traffic blocked and still the MPAA got to them... you're not safe anywhere, the MPAA pretty much...

Well, I'd say there are probably as much or maybe more GFX forums than warez forums... but maybe I'm wrong. If you can afford the licence, I'd go with vB... if not, phpBB is a good free choice.

After what happened with torrentspy I guess the old loopholes won't save the big torrent sites anymore...

I downloaded a pack with over 1000 mods a while ago, I've been getting everything from there... everything has worked with vB 3.6.8 so far. You should check out vbteam.info or gysn.org, they usually have all the latest vB related stuff. ;)

I looked for one a while ago too, and I couldn't find anything. Maybe you should look for a tut on setting up a dedicated server, that'll help you setting up your VPS too. ;)

I get between 50 and 90 kbps... I get faster speeds when I use their uploader.

Hi, I've never registered a domain before and I'm about to do it... I was wondering if when registering the domain, is it alright to use a fake address, name, telephone, etc.? Will they confirm the info I enter or is it alright if I do the fake thing? I'll use namecheap btw. Thank you. :)
