the best thing is to make decisions based on own experiences like duckload mentioned. i tried duckload for a few days and stopped using it because their script/filemanager sucks big time (sorry dagobert, but that's my honest opinion).

i have usually no problem with the remote upload on fileserve, it's very reliable but today all files are pending (~140). i'm uploading from a 1gbit root server rented from ovh.com.

despite the senselessness of this thread, the people still love rs. recently i posted something and it got over 2000 dls per part on rapidshare, while the other hosts counted around 50 downloads per rar-part.

i just wanted to say that fileserve is simply awesome. i made a mistake and requested a payout to a non-existent paypal account. RickyFS fixed it for me within a few hours and today the payment was transferred to the correct paypal account. can't think of any other filehost with such a first...

@DuckLoad: could you release a version of your website that relies less on javascript/flash? my firefox keeps crashing repeatedly if i use your filemanager for longer than 2 minutes.
