Basically you should use a keyword that will serve the purpose of a heading as well. If it is a keyword phrase it will be fine, but if it is a one word keyword and you are using it like this then maybe you should consider of cutting some off, reduce it it 2-3 words.

Make sure that you add the meta tags (keywords and descriptions) only once, after the <head> tag and before the <body> tag. If you are using Worpress then there is an allocated place where you can add the title and
description and you will have no issues with duplication.
I don't any tool other than Google webmasters. This works fine for me and I don't have any issues for this till date. I am a regular user of this and have noticed nothing out of the ordinary using Google Wembasters.
