The nature of mega.co.nz service does not allow it. File is encrypted on your computer. There would have to be some additional service which would download file from remote location, then encrypt it and send it to mega.co.nz ... and you would have to give them your password. This would...

As you see, the problem is general. It does not matter what program you use, people use shared servers which are not secure and used by many users. Stored passwords can be stolen even from browser etc.
