I don't know what is the problem with ftp but I newer saw so much problems with ftp on any other host.

I would open the ticket mate but I can't log in into their site. This thread is the only way I can contact them.

No mate I can't log in for a last two hours. They had some maintenance but obviously they didn't finished it yet.
