From what I heard, they don't even bother if you host a warez linking site on the server, but to be safe, better look for hoster that allow warez linking.

Base from the stats on my server, most traffic came from katz, other traffic from DDL site is quite low, similar to Ultima, <10%

If you have the budget I'd say go for VPS, you can have full control of your server. To learn how to manage a VPS is not hard, there's a lot of guides and tutorial over the net, just google it, or if you are lazy, just hire someone to manage it for you or get full management from the hoster...

I agree with GF You must have a superb server to handle all the bandwidth and to get it you must have a lot of funds to spend for it. Don't think you can get much profit out of it since you'll have to manage the server costs, unless you have some steady donators / sponsors and high income from ads

We are just giving our opinions as a customer, your friend should consider that also, if no customer, then how can he survive in the business? Anyway, best of luck to your friend.

How can we be sure that we will be 100% safe when using your friend's host? Any guarantee? Any website that we can take a look at? When did your friend start the business? Will we get support 24 hours?
