I'd love to hear what you like and what you don't like about today's streaming service situation.

I think, most of all you should build it on SSD hard drives, and have a good fast dedicated uplink connected to the host server.

I just want a fast server, the longest inactivity time they can give. No point using a host if everything gets wiped before anyone even grabs it.

SSD's are extremely expensive, it's simply not feasable.

20-30$ per TB per month. Even more for NVME.

Unless there's a system that constantly moves the files that are most used to the ssd's and the ones that are mostly dormant to hdd's
