Yeah it's a sad day. The only positive aspect is that as an Open Source product, anybody can fork the product and continue it separately from Sun/Oracle.

If you paid him that doesnt mean you wont get hacked there a lot of other hackers who can deface ur site.

Try to secure yourself more next time, he probably hacked u with a public exploit or got access to one of your sites on the server - put a shell on it, and root the server. Even a stupid idiot could do that, be ready for the next time and stay safe.

The design is so unprofessional, the red/yellow color doesnt even look good for a clean DDL site. You should try with more lighter colors like blue; green or whateva, the only thing i like on this style is header everything else needs work. Well i see its ur first time making a wcddl style...
