Thanks for the shot of nostalgia MrOSX! Long time. What I miss are the friendships I made here. It used to be a lot of fun. The coders and graphics ecosystem was pretty great with lots of creative folks. The quizzes were fun too.

But that space usually last for something like 2 years :P The free Dropbox space you get with mobiles isn't permanent. As for me, I currently use Dropbox and love it. Still it's nice to have alternatives, I might probably start using MediaFire for unimportant stuff, or for files which I don't...

File hosting service MediaFire has launched a Dropbox-like application for OS X and Windows today, MediaFire Desktop, which lets users upload files directly from their desktops to the cloud, and share them with others. The public beta of MediaFire Desktop has the same type of file syncing...

I guess it should be fairly easy to achieve using their API. But why would you want to do this in the first place? I mean isn't it the same thing as directly using their website? Or do you want to integrate this somewhere in your website?
