Hi,
I am a big fan of firefox, the best browser on world. The new version of firefox 6 is out just now! I updated and it seemed to be more faster than 5. The surfing speed is really awesome, i surfed a few sites and they are opening extremely fast. They have also add some new visualizations.

i dont know why, but i love version 3...and yeah i too hate constant new versions


i remember when they released version 3, they had this guiness world record thing etc...its loosing hype these days.
 
i am using 3.x.. i don't like the new versions due to plugins support...

i don't like new version of FF, they are copying chrome......

so old version is enough man...

also why they are updating frequently(very frequently), due to right competitor.....? because till now no one is able to competitive with FF....even chrome

At this rate we'll be on Firefox version 35.0 by the time Christmas comes.
The people that make the plugins must be getting pretty annoyed right now.
Having to update the script over and over again just because Firefox can't make their mind up about which version they want to stick to for longer than 2 weeks lol. :facepalm:
 
FireFox is a disaster now. They were meant to make their plugins like Chrome so they don't constantly break on every update (chrome release new versions more than FireFox but nobody notices as everything keeps working). I've coded and released plugins for both FireFox and Chrome and FireFox is terrible.

As for FireFox 3.x I don't even support that anymore when coding websites as it doesn't support HTML 5 or CSS 3 properly. For an example my latest website http://wrzc.org looks crap in FF3.6 but fine in FF4+.

Chrome 15 (which is what I use) learns your favorite sites what you like which allows it to preloads them so when you click a link BOOM it's loaded already. A page load takes 0.0001 seconds. FireFox is a snail compared with it's 3-5 seconds.


FireFox is the new IE and Chrome is expected to pass it's numbers in November anyway so the sooner that happens the better.

I am on v5 and I only updated to that last week! Now in v6 of Firefox 3 of my main extensions don't work so I will be sitting tight till they are updated. I run v6 of Thunderbird though.

I too use chrome but rarely , i like the browsers that are stable and some what heavy, where as i feel chrome as very very light so i dont like it much :P
