Need suggestions

Update:

Sorry, Launching delayed again don't really want to launch the service with bugs.

Hello Everyone,

We are launching a new streaming file host, right now we are in testing mode, we really need suggestions from all of you to serve better. (y)

Please comment and help us to rectify our plan.

Affiliate Program:
- $50 for 10,000 unique viewings – Highest Payout
Tier 1: $50
Tier 2: $30
Tier 3: $20
Tier 4: $10
Full Details later..

- 50% from premium sales ( PPS )
- 20% from referrers profit

Embedding allowed and paid same.

Conditions:
1. Filesize more than 5MB
2. Played more than 50% of video
3. Few more conditions....

Payment Option:
Paypal, Alertpay, Moneybookers & Webmoney.
Payment will be made weekly, on Monday to be more specific.
$10 minimum payout.

- Remote upload
- Rapidleech plugin
- SBORG plugin
- PHP CURL Auto upload script
- Static ads only, NO annoying popups.

Please suggest and correct us from the both uploaders and users point of view.

well, Romania is known to be USA remote control and if us would ever say something against..i dont see you good.
You may consider for another country ..
ps: im from Romania .i know a little bit about Romanian politics and i see how our goverment is acting against our own interests for protecting USA ones..

don't forget to encrypt log-datas :)

and ms7 is right with the american-romanian "partner"-ship. Romanian authorities will confiscate your server faster as USA can sign the order

Yes, i also researched abit will drop Romania server.

Netherlands & Germany seems to be better.

Germany might be your worst idea. We offer fast internet-infrastructure but we have a strict copyright law which will end your service fast. ;) Rapidshare and uploaded.to are originally german hoster but they emigrate to Switzerland (later ul.to to Hong-Kong) cause of our drastic (content-industry influenced) copyright law. Eventhough Rapidshare is in Switzerland they receive lawsuits from german lawyers nearly every week.

Better think of Russia or some other states who don't care about an order from US authorities. ;)

We do have servers in NL (bulletproof) and Romania.

Russia is no good for peering. I will look for Switzerland.

That's correct (Rapidshare has also hosting server in Germany/NL, etc.). Ul.to even has servers in other states. But they can bear a confiscated server and pay lawyers cause of the size of the company. If you start a new service you won't....

Try Germany but you might have crying users if they loose their uploads in a few weeks/months... i don't say it will surely happen but it might be. Maybe nothing happens.
 
a suggestion, make it so the streams can also be played on mobile devices?
Now a days the mobile space is were these streaming sites need to be headed, as more and more people are watching on the go, iPad's, iPhones etc. Basically html5 support will do the trick.
 
Add new feature to stream MP3 File as well along with video file !
Rate could be same or little bit less but the streaming speed should be same !
with server location mostly in NL or EU or RU .

Why Only Vids , We want MP3 as well :)

Yes its mobile/ipod friendly site though can be better, Video Player is HTML5 will work in almost all gadgets.

Rates will be same, just according to the slab of file size.

File size limit: 2GB
Storage space: Unlimited ( reasonably )
Sounds good ?
