wJ Christmas Banner - Discussion

The wJ Team Has Done alot of great changes after the incoming of Cap1 & V1RG1N. We were all requesting them for getting a new banner for Christmas. They Walk with so much difficulties already & we want them to do GFX Too? Aaah come on...

Solution - wJ Has So many brilliant GFXers who earn alot from here & in born talents... Why not we try & make a banner ready for wJ this time.

Purpose of this Thread?

This thread has been created for any1 who can present a wJ Christmas Banner... New guys can show their talents & its an opportunity for any1 to contribute to wJ. Come on people lets do something for wJ Now! The people who were criticizing the test banner, setup sometime back can show us what they got here.

I am Going to give my first try with this simple banner :) ->

NOTE - Info for the participants, Size Of the banner should be "808x105". Logos can be done approx... This isnt any official Thread, its a type of present to wJ for this christmas & maybe If your design/banner is awesome we can put it up by suggesting it to the wJ Management! :)

Even if you make a great one it still might not be chosen, this isn't an official thread. Capone has already stated that he is working on getting a new one. WJunction will more than likely keep the existing logo in its place with its existing font but just change the background, instead of moving the location and changing the font.
 
Well, you aren't the admin you don't have the permissions to add a new one / change the current one...

Can an admin confirm this please?

That is a very nice effort there, my123world. However, you can improve it by including the same logo. A logo never changes. The banner may change but logo never changes.Its a part of your identity.
Btw, i will also be giving it a try myself as i love this community and i also urge other GFX artists who earn a lot from this forum to please dedicate your precious time for the forum too!

EDIT: Pi0, if you make an epic one, the admins will obviously put it on teh web! But remember to include LOL CATS <3
 
pi0 - this can be like a christmas present for wJ... u want ur banner to come on the header ryt? Do something brilliant. People cant ignore excellence ;) Even if ur banner isnt accepted. You still get the feeling u have contributed something for wJ this Christmas. :)

For me thats enuff.
 
I personally object to anything that refers to Christmas on the header as loads don't celebrate it. "Happy Holidays" or similar is more appropriate.
 
@rkze - ru a guy from out of this world? Asians dont celebrate Christmas? Please man stop coming and fucking in all of my threads going against every possible thing I do. Use ur brains if U have got some. My suggestions are mine if u want to tell something sensible then do or else kindly dont post to increase ur pos count! :)

That just displays ignorance. Most people here celebrate Indian, Pakistani and muslim celebrations and now you are saying we shouldn't have Christian celebrations, that's just single mindedness imo.

Personally I'm agnostic and don't celebrate any religion/festive celebration but I believe if we're going to celebrate one, why not celebrate all.
 
Couldn't really careless tbh, I guess if the owner of WJunction decides to have a banner it's final, after all you can't tell someone what they can or cannot do with their own property.
