How to edit IPB footer

I've been looking around the templates and haven't managed too see how to edit the footer, I've also looked elsewhere for answers but haven't seen any, If anyone could tell me how I can edit the footer to add such things as Linkback buttons etc that would be great.

Edit Templates->global template->scroll to bottom.

there is inbuild ads system inside the system settings,
you can add ads code there

Go to:

you acp --> Look & Feel --> Manage Skin Sets & Templates --> "Select your skin" --> choose globaltemplate at the left column

-> press crtl + F (to activate the search) --> fill in "<!-- __FOOTER__ -->" (without the quotes) --> BAM, you found your footer

you can add whatever you want between:


<!-- __FOOTER__ -->
and
<!-- /__FOOTER__ -->
