Yup... It's down

Yup, it has been down for the last day now. Apparently another hack to the database. Someone or some group really has it out for BOLT.

Yeah I suspect it is maintenance... There were a few issues with search and new users could not register apparently. Should be back in a bit

@Buddy... I agree.... Meepz really went above and beyond when you think about it truly. He keeps the spammers, trojan horse links, phishers, and all around nuisance posts out of the system along with making sure that the same post didn't end up taking an entire page of listings. More often...

Oldone3pp you are right about being part of the process. I have been looking, but then again not that hard and mostly for the tech side and discussion side BOLT had. One thing I have noticed is there are a lot of boards that were active and alive that are now going out with frightening...

This is a bad sign with the latest development. I have never seen BOLT with a 502 before.... This really may be the end of a very long run for Meepz and if so there are almost no alternatives. The sites that others have suggested are gone or in the same situation where there is no access...

This does not look good for BOLT..... the database error and now the 502? I think we need to hang our heads in silence and move on. Problem...! Is there something like BOLT out there or was BOLT one of a kind?

Hope springs eternal I really hope so. Bolt is a one of a kind place that really is community. I've not seen it out for this long but then again it could be anything that is keeping them away. Let's hope they come back..... Last place of true free thought.
