FTP uploads take some time to show up in the "My Files". hope he waited for some time after the upload was completed. Mine normally shows up after 5 - 10 min

Search for some websites where you can post your links so that it gets redirected to your website. i was doing those long back.... not now.. so i don't know the current scenario... btw looks like you are shy to let people know what is your website... add it to your signature and wherever it is...

Have a lot of good content. you need to upload all the latest TV shows as and when they are aired. have some patience and you will build your own user base... there's no short cut in this to gain a lot of visitors to your website...
