How long for France Servers - FR VS Package to be setup?
Daily backup is included in price or has to pay an additional fee?

Is current offer on vps only or on dedicated servers too?

Hello Soundlover,
The setup time may vary from 1-3 business days. Every France server comes with 100 GB free FTP backup.
We do not have any offers for dedicated servers.

Hello,
Yesterday, we upgraded all our nodes and during that time, our shared hosting service went down for few hours due to a small issue. All the services were back online but today, at around 7 AM IST, we received a small DDoS attack on our shared server due to which our main website also went down for 1 hour.
We solved this issue immediately and all our services are back online.
We apologize to all the shared hosting clients for the inconvenience caused during the past 12 hours.
If you have any further questions, please let me know.

ServNode: An experience I wish I did not have.

Just wanted to alert everyone regarding ServNode. I had purchased a VPS from them a few weeks back and it was an absolutely terrible experience from the get-go.

As most of these VPS hosts go they advertise the link speed of the NIC and not the true internet uplink and downlink speeds. I can tell you that the fastest I ever was able to get the VPS to transfer at is
350Mbps/43.75MBps which I will say is generally better than others which I have tested so far.

Within the first few hours I was continually having problems where the VPS was suddenly shutting down and becoming inaccessible. They told me that one of the VMs that was on the same server as mine was
using too many resources and they needed to isolate the issue. After a few days of this where I was able to maintain an hour of connectivity they finally told me that I was the cause of it. All that I was
doing was one thread of unrar on my Ubuntu 11.10 64bit OS. If the VM was really hosted on a RAID 10 then this would not have been an issue. Either way its highly irresponsible for a host to operate in this
way. So, after learning I was unable to perform extracting of my rar packages I decided to move on and take the hit....

Then in the middle of the night between Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd I received an email stating that they were planning to do hardware upgrades and that we needed to migrate our VMs to a new
server, since they use OpenVZ which is a paravirtualized solution this wasn't something they could facilitate for us. I could write an essay on why use of paravirtualized machines is absolutely insanely
retarded these days but thats another story (KVM and VirtualBox are near Type1 Hypervisors which meet same resource utilization as SolusVM). First, what kind of a hosting provider suddenly decides on the
day before Christmas that they're going to undergo a major hardware change?

Then I responded back to them that I would not be able to make this transition until after the holiday as I was really busy with family who just came in from out of town. What was their answer? Shut off
the VPS AGAIN without any notification. This resulted in the guys who work for me having a shit hemmorage (again) so I offered to migrate the VM for them in the middle of the night. Also to note, at this
time I was also informed that due ot a hardware failure it was necessary to move the VPS right away, this was total bullshit as I know my way around the Ubuntu CLI on an OpenVZ guest to be able to perform
tests to ensure the hardware was of sound use, unfortunately I couldn't do a simple S.M.A.R.T. status but I was able to see that this was another one of their fabricated lies.

So I looked the other way about the hardware failing lie and tried to boot up the new VPS that I'd need to rsync all of my data over to. I didn't get far with this because their instant OS setup flat out
does not work, I tried it on the old and the new VMs at least a dozen times. The machines do not even respond to ping tests, they clearly have a broken SolusVM panel and lack the knowledge to fix it. So
I sent them a nice email that I couldn't access the new VM. I then received a response "Don't worry, we will migrate it over for you right now" Note: this was after they had told me that they couldn't do
this for me earlier because I had too much data (50GB)...

A few minutes after that I received another response from them "We are sorry to inform you that the migration was completed but the VM has been accidentally deleted by my colleague. We extremely apologize
for the inconvenience caused but it was accidentally done and there is no way to get your data back now. We know how it feels as this is happening for multiple times now but we cannot help it. Again, we
apologize for the inconvenience caused."

I responded by telling them they're done and to refund my money (which they did a few days later, took a while due to some issue with the Indian banks and PayPal...)

With this loss was countless hours of scripts which I was developing for integrating Plowshare with ffmpeg to create thumbnail previews, I am still devastated over the fact that they lost MY DATA so I am
here to warn anyone about this service. Mark my words, its not a scam, these guys are just simply totally imcompetant and I do not believe they understand anything regarding virtualization and certainly
are not in the right line of business.

EstroWeb is who I went with once I told ServNode to take a hike, and honestly I forgot who they were and had to look at my email as I haven't had to contact them a single time since they set up the VPS for me two weeks ago.

$4 vps with cpanel?

Hello,
No, the VPS is not with cPanel.

@C172P_PPL,
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused. You were the only one having terrible experience with us due to our mistake. We were not using RAID 10 before but we are using now. Due to multiple drive failures, we are using it now.
I hope your money was refunded and good luck.

Yes, we have an instant setup policy and we do accept Payza.

So all your prices are for one month only. Then they double in price?
