Hello guys,

I am starting this topic because the guy named Th3_Narcissist is posting crap (Example) for no reason.

Let me explain you guys what is actually going on.

His Claim - I have ripped his CUSTOM skin and used in my forum.

Now lets start with what is custom skin. A custom skin is a skin is designed from scratch.

Now Have a Look at this - http://i35.tinypic.com/14loiec.jpg (this is the CUSTOM skin of DarkWrz which i ripped.)
Now have a look at this - http://i33.tinypic.com/142rajq.jpg (this is the ORIGINAL skin called gScale designed by GFXstyles)

I can even point out the changes made in the original skin which Th3_Narcissist is terming the custom skin.

  • Removed the top header bar.
  • Logo centered (Common for all)
  • Forum Icons Changed (Done by all)
  • Just changed the color of _thead1.gif (which brings the darkred touch to the skin)
I never knew changing 4 things in a skin makes that skin a custom one.

What actually happened?
When i started my forum DaSmartShare around 13-15 days back, I was just testing out different skins and i know how to rip a skin. So I was going through the skins and was thinking to try out the skin of DarkWrz with the changes they made. I used their skin by ripping it. But on the other hand i was working on the skin which i have currently in my forum. I submitted my downloads to Katz, and other ddl sites and they could visit anytime and rate my site and this is why i did not shift back to the default vbulletin skin as i would have get a lower rating(BTW Katz staff visited my site when my current skin was up). As soon as I completed the work on the skin which i am having now, i made it public. Since that day I am having this skin only.

Now I don't even have that skin installed in my forum - http://i36.tinypic.com/2rojaxi.jpg

He banned me from DarkWrz and DarcShare. He thought that i am submitting my links to his ddl site. But the fact is i never intended to, its in warezlinkers auto and so my downloads also go to him. And as such I don't even care he banned me from it.

Banned my ass? I don't really care if liers ban me. :p

Now its on you guys. I don't think I have done anything wrong in this whole thing which Th3_Narcissist is making a big issue.

let me clear some things up for u guys, i modded the skin at darkwrz included (which is not pictured) the footer, now what is pictured the gradient, the header, but what is not told is he also ripped a few other small details, but what got me was wtf are u doing ripping a site you are an uploader on? Oh the footer had some very unique text in it, which was copied to dasmartshare even the ddl table was ripped, so narc banned u from darkwrz, i banned u from darcshare, i don't want rippers in my community, and that is what u did plain as day, and then tried to deny it in the darkwrz chatbox, but it was to late we had already seen it. The skin is downloadable from vbteam why not download it and then install that version on ur site?
 
So you ripped a custom skin and to add insult to injury you say hes in the wrong for making a big deal about it....? Just don't rip skins and you won't get bullied. (y)

Well i don't want any kind of drama and this is why i didn't start or say anything that day when you started all the drama in the wj chatbox. But can't see you posting everywhere all this crap.

Fist of all tell me how come a modified theme termed as a CUSTOM one?

Secondly the footer ddl table is same amongst all the websites(forums), whats new?

And if you have noticed perfectly, your skin which you modified has errors on it but mine one had no errors.

And first of all a custom skin? How come a 4 things modified skin be a custom skin?
