wordpress post categories issues

Hey there

It's my first time to setup a wp blog a,d Ive been struggling for days now trying to fix it but no way

my categories are showing up automatically under my menu and I couldnt find a way to remove it

You can edit the script to prevent it from doing that.
It will be one of the PHP files depending on what theme your using.

So the categories need to be removed from when you are editing a post or making a new post?
