Hello. Going to start off by saying that I hate PayP*L so much. They indefinitely limited our account and froze our money and said maybe in 6 months they will give it back. They listed the following POS place as the reason for limiting our account, Free Streaming Platforms We have zero affiliation with that place, but since they decided to list our name on their site, BAM we had our account taken away. I'm writing this because many other hosts are listed by that place so you may want to do something before you inevitably suffer the same results if it has not already happened.
Now, on to some better news that can help similar people in similar situations. Having a lot of money frozen for 6 months and not knowing if you will ever get it back is terrible. There is a way around this, but you need to act fast. Issue refunds. Empty your account except for $.02 (I like that amount because I'm going to give them my 2 cents) by sending money back to where it came from. Then write the people that sent the money in the first place and tell them that you issued a refund and need to make other arrangements. At least by doing this that horrible place PayP*L, can't keep your money interest free and at some point decide that by violating their "terms" or "agreement" that they are going to keep your money.
They sent me to this page which is laughable. https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US It states the following "YOU AGREE THAT THIS USER AGREEMENT WILL BE EFFECTIVE AS TO ALL USERS ON OCTOBER 1, 2015." I NEVER agreed to this user agreement, they just slip it in and pretend that everyone signed off on it. If you continue reading through this enormous user agreement that no one authorized, I certainly did not, it states that they can take $2500 left and right from you for whatever they want pretty much. IMO if you have any money in your account in 6 months, they will just find a way to steal it. They are thieves. (And for the guy who likes to go around and say, "well aren't hosting site stealing?".... Save it.)
I am on a lifelong boycott of PayP*L. Join me and send this company a message that if they push around too many little guys, Goliath will fall.
