Hiya guys,

I made and uploaded some video tutorials for all those who are new to dedicated servers.

I currently have only 2 videos made and uploaded, rest tuts are on their way and will be uploaded.

The tuts are :

1. How to make a Vps in HyperVM and install Cpanel in it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hysdn12upJE

2. How to reinstall OS on a dedicated server using NetDirekt's Server Panel

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZ0Og6p_KPs

3. How to install RDP (Remote Desktop) in Linux (Centos) [Request by CatchitBaby]

http://blip.tv/file/3342019

Suggestions for future tutorials :

1. How to install HyperVM [ Waiting for a test dedicated server ]

If you have any other suggestions , feel free to post it here, and if found appropriate i will include in my TO-DO List.

Please comment :)

I wouldnt use HyperVM way too insecure, It would be nice if you could make one for Soulus or VDSManager

@Dlow: Okay mate, i will try to make one for SolusVM or VePortal.

Guys prefer Veportal more i think so.

Any other requirements?

Install litespeed and shut down apache.
When I installed litespeed, it got installed but apache and litespeed both were running

Yeah mate use the command DJgaurav said,

also u can use

Code:
/etc/init.d/httpd stop

to stop Apache, in case u need to start it again use :

Code:
/etc/init.d/httpd start

You should add a tut for install csf coz its one of the trickiest thing to install on centos if not configured correctly it will block you and all ports :)) .

Yeah i agree with u DJGaurav.

I once messed it up lolz

I am currently working on the Hypervm/Veportal tutorial. After that i will try to make tht :)

Great tutorials there,

Installing cpanel is pretty easy, just about 4 commands directly via SSH.

But if there is a need be to show it to people, then ye - good job :)

regards,
Ryan

If the newbies on the net knew how to install Cpanel then maybe i wouldn't get so many emails. :)

Anyways im nt aiming at making only tuts for newbies, i will be making more advanced video tuts such as installing CSF, Hypervm with OpenVZ and Xen Virtualization, and installing RDP is okay not that advanced.

I'm accepting requests for new tutorials, if you need any feel free to post. :)
