[TUT] Site Ping-Make your site indexed more faster

Well I recently noticed that my blog posts are getting indexed in just 2 minute after posting.So where is the trick ? The trick is pinging.

What is Site pinging ?
Site pinging is a process for sending notification to major search engines that your blog has been updated.After getting this notification search engine crawler crawls your site and then your updated pages get indexed in search engines.

How to ping ?

1. Ping Google :
Copy and paste below url and hit enter

[B]http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=[/B][B][COLOR=Red]Sitemap URL[/COLOR][/B]
Replace
SITEMAP URL by your own site's sitemap url

2. Ping Yahoo :copy and paste below url and hit enter
Code: 
 [B]http://search.yahooapis.com/SiteExplorerService/V1/updateNotification?appid=YahooDemo&url[/B][B]=[/B][COLOR=Red][B]SITEMAP URL[/B][/COLOR]
Replace
SITEMAP URL by your own site's sitemap url

Example

If wjunction's sitemap url is http://www.wjunction.com/sitemap.xml
then for ping wjunction to bing the full url will be

By above 3 codes a nice submitter created by BlaZe . * Dont know it is working script or not but still you can check it out

Some other Mass ping service providers are here .They will ping your Site to major search engines.

* Remember only ping your site if your site has been updated and only give homepage url to ping service providers and crawlers will do the rest.

BTW, I hope it isn't looked at as a blackhat tactic for indexing, since you make the server index you instead of doing so on his own will.

This is not black hat tactic ... its totally legit ... just ping your site when it is updated usually once in 1-2 days should be the parameter ...

- Its actually notifying search engines that your site has been updated.There is nothing to make the search engines fool.well more preciously you are submitting your sitemap to search engines.

generate sitemap url list and ping it with mass ping sites, they ping almost all search engines, thats the fastest way. And yeah most of cms has built in or plugins to enable same feature. ;)
