Server load high - VPS

I don't know how it got fixed. The server load is as-usual normal. I removed my htaccess and left the server as usual for some time. Then its back to normal. The problem was seemed to be with vBulletin I think or may be a denial of service attack.

I didn't alter the default Apache settings of Kloxo.

Kloxo is resource hog.
Get a new VPS, learn how to use ssh and install WebMin, then apache/php/mysql from a 3rd party repo (since Official CentOS ones are quite outdated).

Ya, Ok. I have CentOS on my virtualbox. I ll play with it, try to install webmin and apache/php/mysql and then ll try it out on the current VPS itself.

webmin is hard to setup so you best asking your provider if you get stuck

why dont you install nginx on your centos ?

save your RAM a lot
