Great article from Karan Singh:

The lust for ‘Money’ and ‘Success’ is at an all time high, thanks to the wrong notions, social pressures, these being highly debated and talked about subjects, and a constant fear of not achieving enough in life, comparison to ‘Sharma ji ka beta….’ and so on.

Cordial relationships are being lost day in and day out, owing to the busy lives and use of technology to supplement it, less face-to-face communication, no attempt to hear out each other or least interest in others life, lack of understanding and a general disconnect with the dear ones due to inability to adapt to tough situations.

IMO, in person communication forms a stronger bond compared to any sort of communication through technological means.

Back in the old days, people were less dependent on technology and more on friends and well-wishers for any kind of support, advice, celebrations. This helped them form stronger bonds with those people who they called ‘Friends’. Due to good social relations, healthy eating habits and enough physical activity, people were also happy with their lives. This has tremendously changed in modern times.

The saying ‘Health, Wealth and Happiness’ did go well with the old times. This has changed to ‘No health, More wealth, Least happiness’ in the modern times.

I, personally, think that most of changes are for the best. It depens on ur own attitude mostly, cuz nobody forcing u play video games instead of some outdoor activities, u know.
