Chefo, why u talk about something you do not understand? Make me video how you make hardsub on 25 min lenght for 2 minutes right away. It will be hit. I'm with i5-3ghz, and i barely can make it under 20 minutes with the fastets enconde. Show me, you pro. I hope you at least understand the difference between soft subs and hard.

Edit: And yes, i still wait for those issues with the service to be fixed. Not playable videos with errors and etc.

Dude, make me video, recording your deskstop, how you hardsub for 2 minutes, episode of 25 minutes with processor newer than 2008. I'm not talking about shitty files, downloaded from youtube. I want to see that. I won't mention at all movies and ova with 60+ minutes. You talk about things you do not understand. The only program for fast hardsub is HandBrake, and you need newer and powerful processor to make 25 minutes video under 5 minutes.
To hardsub any file, you need to renconde the video file itself, and that takes time if you have middle or lower computer settings.

The whole conversation started from there that it's best to have option in onlystream to hardsub files, cuz you can easily remove subtitles with mkvtoolnix for like seconds, cuz it doesn't renconde the video.

Edit: That video prove what noob you are. Just seeing the file's settings and the final results. Now try this with proper file's size and proper resolution and codec.

Here, show me. Extact the subtitles from the file. Do not change the filesize, do not ruine the quality. When we upload here, we want best quality, so after the convert of onlystream, it will still looks good. I want the file how it is with hardsubs. Show me how easy is to hardsub, instead remove double subs, cuz you can remove subs, without change the quality for 20 sec! That's the whole point of this conversation, right? Hardusb is as easy as removing the subs.

Just send me one of your anime episodes or wahtaever you are uploading to Onlystream with the proper sub file for it, i will make a demo againa, even with HandBrake will be same almost.

And that's with my 7 years old Home PC i7 3770 , just imagine what will be the time if i do this with my workl machine running Ryzen 3700X or similar decent cpu ...

Chefo, in the end, you couldn't make it under 2 minutes like you say, but for 5 and you even increassed the size of the file, and the statements for 30 minutes are based on my lapto's settings - i5 480m. which can make it under 20 minutes, only if i cut the file's settings.
Noone is saying anything about new processors here. Of course it will be faster, but for episodes - around 2-3 minutes, not for OVA's, Movies. Try now 2 hours movie.
Everything started on your saying about old processor and fast enconde.

Now imagine hundred of episodes. Overall, it's easier to remove double subtitles for 30 sec, instead hardsubbing.

Buddy, i am not here to attack you but to share expierence. If you dont want to face the facts ( even 7 years old pc can make the task 4 times faster than your initial statement that its not possible to encode hardsubs under 30 min) then no problem , its your choice, i wish you doing well anyway.

And yeah i can make harsubs 4 x times faster than 30 minute for small file ot 25 min lenght. Its a proven fact.
