Could be possible with a good firewall (soft-based) config, but really depends how much DDoS attacks. But don't count on a good private firewall (hardware based) for that budget...
 
Wrzhost used to be a host which was discussed a lot here on WJ until one of his staff (Nick) was banned.

The reviews were mixed. Some of them were satisfied while others didn't like their service at all.
