I'm planning to migrate my site to your VPS server. I'm just curious what will happen if GU has taken down (I hope not. *knock on wood* ). Do you have other contact, so I can still be able to contact you?

Well nothing is permanent. We all know openload was a huge site but still taken down. I'm not saying 100% it will happen to GU too. My concern is just in case it happened too, what will happen to our vps server? How are we going to contact you?

Please don't be offended to my question.

Actually, your comments aren’t offending me but they’re annoying me because I consider them as black comedy comments.

There is no host ever in this industry that has been taken down. Streamcloud/eStream and their group decided to terminate their project due to financial reasons, and Openload and their group besides RapidVideos decided to close their projects to avoid the legal consequences, because they live in Germany, where copyright breaches are dealt with properly. So every host that vanished from this industry was terminated in intention and by the administration decision.

So may I ask you what the fuck does “Taken down” mean? Because there is no host in this industry that has been taken down, ever. They’re either scammers or they were forced to close because they live somewhere in Europe or based in the US and the legal process is really hard on their regions. Also the informations I provided is available for free on Google/TorrentFreak so next time try to bother yourself for 5 seconds to Google anything you need to read about.

I have the right to call it a stupid question, as long as I didn’t call you stupid. Smart people can ask stupid questions, so you shouldn’t be bothered about that.

However, you didn’t come here to ask me for more informations about the thing you want to know, but instead you asked a question like you have a GREAT background about the matter while you have 0 informations, which is why I called it a stupid question. You should be aware of what you’re asking before being so sure about the answer and before you even expect a specific answer from me.

Megaupload/Megavideo was taken down by the FBI in New Zealand and Kim is still fighting against his extradition to the US.

No, he was in NZ and the FBI raided his Villa. There was a long investigation before that and they even wired there phones. The USA can get really grumpy regarding this copyright shit.
But that's not my discussion here. Just read it and wanted to say that there was definitely one Host that was taken down by authorities. And this was Megaupload.
