same here, some files that are not encoded yet (from few hours sicne upload in my case) are not playable and some taking a long time to start. noticed that they all came from fs52.
I was trying to reupload them via web upload (since all my ftp uploads end on fs52 every time) but is kinda dead. stuck on Initializing upload...
damn castaways are abusing the upload!

The situation of adding so many servers must be stressful.


As a user and my experience this week is that these days are slower and almost no coding.
Also the death of the other hosts a week ago was a rumor and until 3 days ago it was not confirmed.

I imagine that the amount of migration must be very high.

Personally more than 6 months ago I had to decide between gounlimited and verystream. I opted for verystream because at that time the email that was sent to verify in gounlimited should have failed and more than a week of waiting I thought they had closed records.

Bad luck I had at that time. If not now I would have the videos uploaded for months and working.

Speaking as one who used to chit-chat with most host owners, I believe no one is seeking to help the hard workers in this industry (the uploaders) but only seeking to reach a specific point and terminate the service at the perfect time leaving with decent amount of cash (uploaders money).

However, it's matter of time till you see the hosts that has been established recently being terminated, and it's not the first time I say this, I said it previously and it happened.

I think with the number of servers we currently have, it will be hard, but not impossible.

Ok So How i Know That? Were is download profit column? I can't see any earning for 4698 downloads.

Instead of requiring 10% of the video to be viewed in order to count the video, it's on click now. Since some of our servers are overloaded and the streaming stability isn't perfect due to the mentioned reason previously, we will count every view whenever a visitor click on the player no matter if he watched 10% or 1%. This is a temporary solution so our partners don't lose any income because the viewer wasn't able to complete 10% because of the buffering. This exception will be disabled and the 10% requirement will be back when the streaming stability is perfect again, which is a goal that we expect to achieve within some additional hours.

they added 100+ server over one night
streaming speed is much better than what it was 48 hurs ago
while other hosts added maybe 4 or 5 servers so who cares about its users more?
also if they closed registration where the people should go? most hosts are only months old and gounlimited is the only old trusted host
people search for reliable hosts not short term hosts

These are the ones under the same domain, since they're OVH's. Each ISP associated to different domain for security reasons related to copyright.
We can't host our DMCA ignored servers under the same domain we relay on, or otherwise we wouldn't be able to reach the first year, while here we're celebrating the fourth one.

We're not dealing with the same websites that those services dealt with.
The reason of what they faced is dealing with extremely large websites that can bring nothing but the FBI, MPAA, RIAA attention.
The reason why we're able to ignore DMCA is that we're not dealing with such websites that bring such force, and we will never search for money as much as getting us in troubles seeking for easy and fast money and having our service terminated just to deal with extremely large website that will bring me some additional income and some lovely FBI agents. As I told you, most hosts owners are gold diggers, easy and fast money is their goal but they can't understand that it's a rule, "easy come easy go".
