I'm sorry but Imho the way all this compensation thing went is just not fair.
I'm saying this just for myself and the work I've put uploading 3k videos in about 2 months and now 1.6k reuploading in the last couple of weeks. I don't know how others work or how they use your hosting platform and that's why I'm speaking only on my behalf but I started my first streaming website going all in with you @GO Unlimited and when finally things started to move, this happened. I'm sure that you know how long it takes to index the pages of a new website, how much time it takes to get the first results from social marketing and SEO and not to mention all the sleepless nights posting new videos on my website, thumbnails, titles, tags, description, uploading or cloning the video and everything in between. I started from 0.00$/day and got to 0.07$/day in a couple of months. Not much ofc but things started to move like I said and the 150%+ growth every month was a very positive thing for me at least for the long run.

To get things straight, I'm not saying it's your fault that my videos got deleted because shit happens and it also happend to me in the past. What I'm complaining here(complaining not accusing) is about the way you formulated the first public statement about the compensation under "My account" and even here on the forum. I first thought that this was a really smart way to keep your users loyalty and repopulate the new servers fast but turned out to be just a misleading technique that kept me busy for the last 2 weeks reuploading half of what I did in 2 months. Why not being clear in the first place so everyone would've been free to choose to stay or change hosting since the very first day it happened? I even agree with the fact that many users could've just upload the videos, withdraw the compensation and run but why not finding a better way to find whether your user really changed the embed code on his website? I personally have a bash script that does just this, gets all the video codes from GO through API and confronts it with my website's database.
And about what other users said here that no one should pretent to be paid doing nothing, I totally disagree because uploading, posting, reuploading, repopulating the database, etc is not really doing nothing. While I never pretended money from you for free, I pretent that my hosting partner should always be transparent about our cooperation, terms and/or rewards(if any) at any time and that the trust should be reciprocal and our communication never misleading. It's like after I said I agree to the reupload I would change my mind fearing you will loose my files again.

That being said and hoping I didn't sound hating or accusatory, I am asking you to ignore my compensation email and or balance. I will still keep my current files if you won't suspend my account lol but I will move to other hosters. Wish you good luck and huge server speeds! Cheers

Also, it's funny that you said it's misleading, because legally this means I have said something and then changed my words, but I dare you to bring one, only one evidence that proofs any misleading behavior from my side. Also you said it's not fair, but also said paying users their compensation in one payment is fair, and if they changed the embed code in their website I can take that compensation from them, but may I ask you what you will do if you're the admin here and you already paid the user his compensation and then he changed the code? You can do nothing.

Nothing from your words was fair, regardless that you're not even one of the affected users. You want to get paid thousands of money in one payment, which is something even if this problem didn't happen you will never get it, but you want it now.

Users are getting double payouts which is beyond their usual income even before this problem, so no one lost anything but actually getting more and in a way that keeps both parts safe from misleading and scammers.

Users who used to earn $2 daily for example, are currently earning $1.5 (most of them because they covered 70% of their files so far), which means instead of $60 monthly they're earning $45 but with double payments they will get $90 which means more than their usual $60. So that's not fair?

Actually yes, the current method isn't fair because we're paying them more than they used to get. We should only pay them the gab they miss from their income, so the user who used to earn $2 and currently make $1.5 gets only $0.5 as a compensation daily. Shall we do that to be 100% fair?

When I first read the compensation, I preferred to be reluctant to believe what I was reading and to think that it would not be that way, luckily I was right and avoid getting illusions.

With the issue of compensation I would have preferred an initial message, with simple words and completely clear.

He haven't upload anything until 10 FEB, which means after the problem we had in 7 FEB.
But even so, he is talking in the behalf of the affected users and say the compensation isn't fair, and wants everyone to gets the compensation in one payment (which seems fair to him).

I have multiple questions for this lier:
1- Will the one payment help you to recover faster?
2- Will you end up better if we decided to close our host instead and open with new name like other hosts who scam you constantly?
3- Will it be fair if a user got his payment (The one huge payment) and left his work and spent it on something else?

The compensation isn't to help you recovering but to cover your lose only, and it's covering much more than that.

He used to make $56 daily but after the problem he is making around $30 daily, which means instead of $1680 monthly he is making $900 but with the double payment he is making $1800, so shouldn't we cut the additional 120 to be 100% fair?

Your yearly income is JUST $720, and you WANT TO GET PAID $44k as compensation?
The compensation is meant to cover the lose and fill the gap our partners have in their income because of this problem, and we're doing much more than that with the compensation program at the moment.

my account on gounlimited was banned beacuse i said on this forum that he probably can't pay 1$ for each reuploaded videos. I reupload 7500 files in 4 days after lost data by gounlimited. next he posted messages that he limit compensation to 1000 per account so i was right. After my post about conpensation
doubts he suspend my accout without deleting my videos so if i cant't control embeds he will continue making money of my videos

Also, yes.. I will not pay ungrateful mentally unstable persons like you who accused me with no evidence just because they don't think any host will respect them and compensate them.

And also anyone who thinks the compensation isn't fair can delete his videos and move into another host to see what they gonna do if they decided to close soon or later and if any host will ever offer something called compensation, because in the whole history of this industry no one did so, except us.

Users like you used to earn $1 daily and now they want to get $30k+ as a compensation, while the fair compensation is only covering your lose, not offering you something additional, but we're offering something additional, so you should thank us, but as I said, ungrateful people can never feel satisfied with whatever you offer.

They have to understand that if GU makes a single payment there is a risk that the user goes to another host and does not use more gounlimited that is just an insurance that they are working with GU, I knew that many people would come to take advantage of that compensation.

But the truth is not fair that a user who has as many as 100 daily view is waiting to be paid 1000 dollars where he will not generate that in 100 years that is not fair.

I will personally upload my video as they report it because uploading videos that do not have reproductions I do not see it necessary to upload it because I would be stealing from GU and I am not a thief or a scammer

I've noticed a surge in Adblock users the past few days in my analytics, and while browsing my website, I tested the player on mobile and there's about 5-7 popups that appear before the video starts playing or while it's loading. I was wondering if this is a necessary step to stabilize our income or if this is maybe a bug that should be reported.

Also, regarding the compensation balance, just to clarify, It's okay if we still can't see the compensation balance=0$, and we have to hold for a few days?
or should every user already see the compensation balance=0$ on their account? and the wait time/queue is for the number to update to the calculated amount?

Ads are the same. Last edit in ads file was in 2019.

However, yes your compensation balance should be ZERO untill your request is processed.

i earn about 7-11$ daily and cooperate with you a year with over 1000$ income off al so probably you suspend accounts wchich can reach a full compensation
The biggest account who requested a compensation got around $8,000 and he is more than thankful for that. While you in other side making $1,000 yearly and not happy with the compensation you was supposed to get which should be around $1,300.

So you had the chance to earn your yearly income within months but you wasn’t happy with that.

This is just an example of ungrateful people.
