Uploading files to servers 144.76.83.245 and 130.185.144.242 always receives 500 Internal Server Error while the upload job is finishing.
Please check these servers.
Uploading files is still like gambling. I have to monitor the upload status and cancel slow connections in order to reshuffle the target server.
Of course, I have a perfect routing to the specific server, but I found a few packet losses on the last hop:
I don't think such kind of packet...
The failure rate of uploading 1000MB files is too high currently. z_o_o_m's file & image uploader usually fails 3 ~ 4 times and then finally succeeds. Those upload jobs received 500 internal server error after whole files had been uploaded. It really wastes the bandwidth I purchased for my...
@KatFile: Please help me confirm if the operation sequence could be counted properly.
Step 1. Download a file and cancel the download job before it's completed. (It should show a 0$ record on the report page.)
Step 2. Re-download the same file and make sure the download job is completed.
Will...
@KatFile: It seems that your storage infrastructure is highly distributed to various data centers. It's a good model. Would you like to check the server 37.220.26.2? Uploading files to the server is really slow. I believe that I have good connectivity to RedStation. It's only 11ms latency...
I plan to replace all my BigFile links to KatFile links in the middle of February, but there are more than 10TB files. After doing a few surveys, I know the storage of KatFile premium is 2000GB. Are there any ways to extend the premium storage and keep it whenever I renew my premium?
My downloaders also hate BF in recent weeks. I didn't mention it so frequently because it doesn't hurt my global earning. It just changed the income source from BF to other filehosts. Comparing with August stats, the BF one remains 30%, but others (RG, DF, etc.) grows 150% ~ 230%.
How many DLs did you get everyday in August?
No, free speed during peak hours is about 50 KB/s, so the premium speed is still a bit useful. I only can teach premium users to use IDM to rape BF servers now.
@Ayaka: Maybe it's caused by the new speed restrictions during peak hours (from 11AM to 5PM, GMT+0). It was announced on 11/21. If your major visitors come from GMT+5~8 timezones, it means almost the whole night, and they would cancel download jobs or ignore BF links forever.
Jo: I don't think RG can remain at the top if you can solve the download speed issue and the auto rebilling issue. At least you don't need to ask affiliates to post BigFile links only in order to get sales. Because I also earn from website sales from multiple filehosts, I can get additional...
Jo,
According to feedbacks from downloaders, BigFile's main drawbacks are:
1. Current premium users should send you mails to cancel subscriptions.
2. The network is poor. The premium download speed is lower than competitors such as RapidGator, let alone the free download speed.
3. The payment...
Jo: Achievements of uploaders are incremental. Attacted downloaders should be increased during the two months. It's not so easy to be saturated. If you see someone's current stats is the same as the one in September, it shouldn't be treated as a normal case. It indicates his achievement rolls...
I guess Chrome 54 is a problematic version. A lot of forums users complain that they cannot access those forums by Chrome 54, but IE, Firefox, Opera, and so on can access those forums without any problems. Hence they also have some problems when they tried to download files from BigFile...
Yes, now visitors always ask to fix dead links of other filehosts although BigFile links are not dead. They ignore BigFile links even though those links are placed to the top of the download page. RapidGator links are put at the bottom of the download page and visitors often complain that they...
