Thanks for the info, wildfire.

Just curious, what's the user interface like? Wondering if it's easy to setup and use.

It depends on the plan really, which plan are you interested in buying?

I think every one have the right to know your unmetered policy mate ... Because it surprised me ... Your VPS is very good , really ... But it is not really 100Mbit/s unmetered ...

I beg your pardon? The connection is unmetered and you can reach speeds of 100mbit, sorry if that wasn't clear previously, I have updated the first post to reflect that.

how much time will it take to setup Wildfire, i do really need it this weekend, and preferably on saturday so i can setup everything this weekend. Please inform me.

and the sentence, you 'CAN' reach speeds of 100Mbit, does does that go.

I'm still interested in the 9.99 Economy one. I don't mind a bit of slower speed in RAR/UnRAR since I'm not dealing with any ridiculously large files.
Just wondering what the interface would look like if I were to be using torrent and rapidleech.

This is it :

But i have to say that his VPS is great , their support is superb ... Only this thing ...

3. Unmetered Rules for Virtual Servers

a) If you use more than the value specified below, depending on your plan, the speed of your connection might be limited:

  • Virtual Server with 512Mb of RAM - 200 GB / month or 50 GB / week
  • Virtual Server with 1024Mb of RAM - 400 GB / month or 100 GB / week
  • Virtual Server with 2048Mb of RAM - 800 GB / month or 200 GB / week
  • Virtual Server with 4096Mb of RAM - 1600 GB / month or 400 GB / week
"

I can confirm the invoice has been sent now, and you will receive your server details soon, I apologize for the small delay.

In regards to the server speed, each node has a 100mbit/s line, and each node has 2-6 customers in it. Therefore, you may only beable to get 80mbit/s in a peak time, but usually you can reach the full speed of 100mbit/s.

Well, since our ECONOMY packages are Linux only, you would probably have to install TorrentFlux and Rapidleech via SSH (both of which are really easy to do, and I believe there are guides on the forum to show you how).

Please note it says 'might'. We have to have those rules in place in the event of someone using 5TB a month on a server, causing a lack of bandwidth for other customers.

Our hosting is unmetered, and those figures are not set in stone as it were, we will only limit you if your usage is affecting other customers server speeds dramatically.

Sorry for any confusion.

The reason for this, is that on the weekends, our team works a different series of hours to weekdays.

But it is Monday now in the UK so things should be back to normal now. Open a ticket if you think a problem / error has occurred though :)

It is 7:30 pm on Jan 31st 2011 and my server with them was suspended for non pmt and my bill is due on 2/1/2011. So I ask at what time is a pmt late and why isn't time zones taken into consideration? I thought I had till 23:59 on the due date to pay my bill.

If this is the case then my due date is really not the first of every month but the last day of the previous month and must pay them before midnight there time on the last day of the month or I will be shut down.

This is really the first issue I have had with them and its a big one for me as I really am budgeted to pay on the due date and not early.

You have been a customer for a year now (since February 2010).

I replied to your ticket with a detailed explanation and two possible solutions for your situation. I'm hoping that, after reading the explanation given within the ticket you will understand. We cannot take responsibility for the fact that you are located on a different timezone than ours.

Thank you for the feedback once again. :)

That's perfectly possible yes :)

Although for Windows 7, you would require a plan with 1GB + of RAM to meet it's minimum requirements.
