Who tells you it's that "safe" buying from them? We still don't have any specific explanations, there we various services that weren't even selling them, they were just offering shared drives for free in their webpage.
 
Google will not warn you or the resellet. They simply tell you that you didnt keep yourself to the TOS.

What kind of other warning do you expect?

Now tell me, complainers, that you had no copyrighted material in your accounts?

it's none of your business what was in the accounts. My data wasn't shared, and no dmca or whatever received even once. i was 100% OK with Google TOS. but not the reseller who advertised his services here in the forum.

It doesn't matter, it's a storage service, if I'm using it privately, it's doesn't matter if it's dummy files or something else.

Google ALWAYS warn whenever changing policies to one of them products.

There is nothing to do with copyrighted marerial, it's all about changing policies.
 
I did receive a notice from google to that account that the files in the bin woud be deleted after 30 days or something like that. that's the only notice i got. nothing else

In my opinion, important accounts with important data (not warez obviously), or those who use it for their websites or even companies etc should try to get it back.

all others arguing about storing warez: In the first post, he highly recommends to not use GDrive for that, yet we all did :grimacing:

at least you got a notice... so what did you do when you got that notice from them? again Google changed TOS, reseller fucked up too, but the real question is... where are we going to store our files now? jk

oh yeah I got them too on my company accounts, they actually transfered all the data which was really nice. but then again, I pay for 17 users there and everything works fine but one thing shouldn't be mixed with the other thing.

also the trash notice was the only one I got too on fastservice.me account, the thing is, if I got notice from Google, then so did the Reseller.

This has nothing to do with that, lots of G Suite resellers on eBay got their domains suspended, this means all the accounts in them got locked.

Google Workspace is now imposing more limits in regards to the number of possible users and shared drives.

my user account has been disabled. i don't know who the admin is as I bought the unlimited drive eBa - Google Workspace Admin Community

Is it the buyer's own fault for believing what a nobody offers, or do you think he is the founder of Google to offer that the files will always be active and never affected? There are more honest people in other forums in which if your edu/gsuite account is affected they will refund you a new one, it's just knowing how to buy from an illegal reseller who really likes his job because if they are looking for rats that run after money they will always stay the same.

In this case there is a dilemma between those who broke Google's rules as well as accumulated complaints in the domain from several accounts, some time ago an acquaintance lost 3 gsuite accounts from a domain just because a user had uploaded cp in his account bought from the reseller and this caused the general blocking to everyone. I recommend you to go first to read Google's regulations, the easiest thing you could do was to hire your own gsuites and you would be protected but no, it's like Lila says, you trusted something cheap with which some could be very useful as others a waste of money, which one is, is a matter of each one.

How do you even know that was the reason? Sounds like BS to me...

Anyways this has nothing to do with the context of several domains being suspended last monday's afternoon.
