hope they won't die too, (one of the few oldest host around)

here the reply to one of my emails,
There is a temporary problem with the financial flows of ours company, which does not allow to freely conduct all operational activities in full. All available means of ours company are using to support the work of the basic services of the project. We are planning to resume full-fledged activities with partners at the earliest opportunity.

seem they are beating around the bush now.

90% chance this will close or become like FF (random payout to some clients), email away same copied answer.
already stop, probably next week will start deleting files that been uploaded.

Halileo program final payout information!
Dear Webmasters!

Thank you for being with us all these years.

Unfortunately Depositfiles can't guaranty stable payments to us for its advertising campaign. That's why it has been decided to discontinue the Halileo program for Depositfiles. Thus we hope to protect your earnings.

Next steps to be done:
1. All earnings calculations on the program will be switched off on 1st Nov 2018.
2. On 1st Nov 2018 all payments requests will be cancelled to make you able to request full actually earned sums.
3. Your payment requests will be collected in period 1st Nov 2018 - 31 Dec 2018.
4. Starting 1st Jan 2019 no new payment requests will be accepted.
5. Basing on your requests budget for payouts will be finalized in Jan 2019.
6. You will be paid immediately after receiving required amounts from Depositfiles.

Thank you for understanding and we hope to meet you in our future projects and campaigns."

So there is hope to get the earnings in our accounts in January...

really bad news. :(
they should just pay all outstanding payout (waiting to get pay since August) first, then start the steps they list so as to increase certainty of being pay on Jan 2019 (which is all long way still).

PS:those steps they list are to get you to continue upload till end of the month and not delete your files before end of the year

Lol guys... No one is getting paid... They just bought 4 months of free work from desperate people. +2 month that passed = 6 months of free work. :D

DF will not pay anyone. Not in January, not now, not ever. It's like someone told you K2S have problems moving money from K2S to moneybiz. And posting community buys that story. Amazing...

Looks to me they just got 4 more months of no one deleting their files + some even uploading more and more. :D

Very possible @Phil_H

I have not uploaded anything to DF since they suspended payouts on 2 August.
But I have not deleted any of my hundreds of files.
Will wait and see what they do, not counting on anything.

Very sad news, Depositfiles was the best, no bullshit or shaving like other hosts, and users loved it.
This was the last good PPD host, and they always payed.

DF have always paid everyone, take your ignorant crap elsewhere... The money problem is very real, and various Anti-piracy corps, and also the US gov have worked hard in the last years to shutdown/cut off and threaten any and all platforms that supplies or work with filehosts, or streaming services.

Do not interpret my words in incorrect manner and then argue basically with yourself.

1. I know DF always paid everyone, where I said that was not the case?
2. I know money flow problems can or can't be real. We do not know that.
3. I said "No one is getting paid". And DF should say 2 months ago "From today DF is becoming free host. Thank you all." And then everyone can decide to continue working for them or not. I have problem with this Filefactory type of tactics of stalling and pulling gullible people for their nose instead saying what's really going on. It is not fair toward people who will mirror their paying filehosts with df for 6 months for nothing.

Next time please read post more carefully to avoid looking like ignorant hater in public.

They are having money problems, legal problems probably. If it were still profitable to keep it going, they would do so.
DF always paid us in the past. To be nice to us? No. To keep us uploading and posting.
Now that that will stop, what is their incentive to pay us? To be nice to us? Because they are kind and good?
Lets remember what our business here is, all of us, posters and hosters. Most of us take content that we didn't create and upload and post it. DF has known this of course and made a lot of money for many years and paid us some. If we are relying on the goodness of the people that we have been in a shady business with, it's not unreasonable to expect that we might be disappointed.

What exactly am i to read more carefully ?

DF is one of the oldest and most trusted filehosts. Why would they shoot themselves down 6 months ago, before all measures and options have been explored ? Obviously we all know what will happen when they announce something like this. People will delete all their files, and accounts, and take their business elsewhere instantly.
Afterall it is not DF's systems that's failing, it's anti-piracy measures that has shut them out. There are only shady processors left for these filehosts, that may or may not run off with all their money, and that has happened multiple times to DF already.
Remember the good old days ? Remember how many of those oldschool hosts who got all their funds frozen by Paypal ?
