I don't think so, they removed PayPal payment as an option. I think this problem will stay a little longer than we are expect.
Long ago I had signed up for their credit card but the initial minimum amount required was $500USD. When selected, it's a Virtual Credit card and once again, $500 is required as the initial payout, then $100 payouts minimum after that.
I got rid of the credit card because RG pays in USD, I'm in Canada, and the credit card was paying out based on UK$. The total cost in transactions and foreign exchange was terrible. Once I realized it was running through UK currency, I withdrew as much as I could and cancelled the card.
It's a physical card they provide you which you can use in ATMs to withdraw cash, or online.
The other options are: Webmoney, Epese, Bitcoin.
So yes, they got rid of Paypal and we won't find out why.
RG charged their own fee for us to use Paypal and their payment provider charged another fee, so we lost out approximately 10% on total earnings. The credit card will be worse.
Going through Bitcoin means trying to find the means to cash out the digital coin. Good luck with that for most of the planet.
I have at the moment $120USD built up in RG - it will take me at least 4 more months to build up to $500USD. Then time on top of that to get the credit card, etc. Which means likely June I might finally get another payout.
I don't need the cash now. I'm in no hurry to get it. But the longer RG holds onto what they owe, the greater the odds something else will happen to prevent a payout. Who's to say that when I build up enough funds, that they won't remove the credit card option.
This is a great way for them to maximize holding cash in their own pockets.
I never was much of a fan of letting them hold onto more than $100, which is why I always requested payouts once that limit is passed. Now it's back to their credit card with bad fees and foreign exchange, which means anyone who uses the credit card will end up with less overall than ever.
I'm not joking when I say how much I was losing due to how the currencies on their credit card ran through several years ago. I was relieved when they opened up Paypal as an option. That's all down the toilet again.
