Im sure you guys have noticed how the market has been going up and down like a roller coaster. Eth was at $188 yesterday and today it's back at $220. BTC made some loss too, but is back up some now.

Lets discuss our predictions and what to dos in this thread. Please post articles or proof of your predictions if you have any. If you're basing it off just your gut feeling, I welcome that too, but please mention that.

Don't limit to only mainstream coins. Anything is welcome.

I've been dealing with BTC for about 4-5 years. Imo, when drops like these come right before a big date, i.e. August first week for BTC, never sell but hold out. Unless you are a day to day trader, then story is very different.

My prediction is for Litecoin - this coin has been in the dark for years now, it is high time people start using / noticing it. Due to current issues with BTC and the row over next upgrade I strongly feel this coin will be the next big thing.

Target price till end of year - 65-80 USD a coin range.

LTC has been so stable even through the last few days of chaos. Eth and BTC have been dropping heavy but LTC has been kinda stable comparatively.

Have you had the time to look into Stratis? Many people are holding on for that to make a big jump.
 
The two best coins as of 1 Apr'17 to 31 Jun'17 period - Antshares & Stratis

Antshares has gained 4189% when compared to closing price and a whopping 7130% when compared between the highest and lowest prices in this period

Stratis - 3079% and 6243% respectively
 
i think eth will crash on exact moment POS version is released, probably that time is good time to buy ETH and hold it. if crash probably i will buy 4~5 ETH. again after POS implement all miner will move on to other coin, this situation may have big impact on ETH price.

just an idea. there is multiple site which exchange crypto currency instant. consider investing in LTC/ZCASH/ETH good idea and has good chance in future price will rise. if you check crupto currency price chart alsmot every coin has 10~20%/month up and down. lets say i bought 100USD worth BTC and and saw ETH price down like 5~10% and BTC price go up. sell BTC exchange to ETH. then when see BTC price go down and ETH UP sell ETH=>buy BTC. not sure how realistic is the idea....

Do you think Eth will recover to a decent stage after this crash? Im so confused right now. Should I sell my eth, should I hold it, should I buy more?
 
i don't know much about investing. i got interested about mining last couple of months only coz of alt-coin gpu mining. when i wanted to start BTC mining, ASIC miner introduce (btc gpu mining obsolete) and all big company started to mine means no chance for me to make any money after paying electricity bill. majority miners pool control BTC mining rewards.

it's hard to tell, wait for 1st aug. there is high probability new fork will add to BTC. depends on it BTC price will be volatile, in that case all other well known alt-coin will follow BTC..if something goes bad btc price may drop to 1000~1200USD. investor will have less trust on blockchain tech, means all other alt-coin price will drop as well. or may be other alt coin price will go high who knows.

if ETH add POS you can use your current ETH for POS, they probably will give you some % profit per year whatever ETH you add to POS. again if POS implement ETH price may drop or may go high no one knows. but if you see BTC price history almost 100% sure you will make good profit if you hold for long term. some people saying ETH may take over BTC position in couple of years :P
 
Don't you think it'll go down for a few days prior to Aug 1st then increase again after the date? A few days ago it was $1.8k, now it's back to $2.6k, for some reason I feel as if it'll plummet again.

It touched $2.936k today. Chances are there that it might go above $3k this time & be stable before falling down.
 
Yes, as M said BTC will fall again very soon before a continuous upward trend (from August) and a huge upward trend post September - maybe 4.5k to 5k by this year end.

Any market has to rise and fall for people to book profits and enter markets (re-invest) at lower prices. If BTC goes at 3.5k USD a coin in a day - not many will buy it. The holders who have huge amounts of BTC (there are lots of them) will control the markets - driving prices up & down.

Btw, it's almost weekend now - general trend in crypto is fall during weekends. Seems like they party real hard :P

You jinxed it man :( haha

I looked into BIP91 and it seems like, it is very difficult to predict what could happen. Price went up yesterday due to the chaos from the BIP91 news but now price is going down again. Before August 1, people will panic and start dumping their BTC like crazy. I am still not sure if I should hold or sell off. Any thoughts?

Their partying takes the shit out of us man. Small timers go through a lot over the weekend.

I think 1st Aug. panic will low down price.
BIP91 locked in and Segwit reached 87%+, still 8% more .

Actually there is nothing can be accurate predict, But yes our preparation can be ready.

Guys move coins from bank/web wallet or where ever you have not control your private keys. Recommend ( My personal ) Electrum desktop wallet store properly your seed and private keys.

If you feel u all want to earn with the help of bitcoin thn must wait dont buy from now if you have little money u cannot buy from here just wait and buy from 3500$ with in few days u will see i not saying i m prediction as all i m also sahring my thoughts i can be wrong too but who cares is there anyone who care ? because in our good time nobody appreciate so anways lets seee :)
